Independent hotels are not our favorite, as much of them don’t have a proper website, or don’t offer the opportunity to reserve via internet (you have to call them, send email and wait for an answer, …). This is of course something that gets better and better, but up till today, these problems still occurs. Furthermore, the experience we have with the chains gives us more certitude then if we have to rely on the info given op their website.
